The San Francisco-based startup Zaarly has been making headlines as of late, and with good reason. Earlier this week, the peer-to-peer real-time e-commerce company was named No. 7 among Fast Company's web/internet industry top 10 most innovative companies, and they recently raised $14 million. We caught up with Zaarly Founder and CMO Eric Koester to find out what keeps the Zaarly team members on their toes, and the benefits of providing them perks.

According to WebMD, sitting still is one of the worst things you can do to your body. "People who sit at their computers for hours every day -- they're in for serious medical problems," says Sharon Hame, MD, associate clinical professor at UCLA's department of orthopedic surgery. "We're seeing more things than carpal tunnel; those pains go up the arm to the elbow and shoulder and then translate to the neck and back. It's a huge problem."
