I’m extremely happy to share two big announcements today. First, Jim Priestley, former sales leader at Oracle, SAP and most recently Box, has joined the BetterWorks team as our new Head of Revenue!
Jim will be helping us continue our fast growth – we now have more than 100 enterprise customers and 125,000 goals in the platform – by leading our sales and business development efforts. He’ll be leveraging an impressive track record and unmatched knowledge of effectively selling to the enterprise market to get BetterWorks in the hands of more Fortune 500 customers and technology partners. On top of all that, Jim’s an awesome guy who fits in perfectly with the rest of our team – read more about why he joined BetterWorks here.
To add to the exciting news, we’re also happy to release three new integrations that will help our customers update and view goal progress wherever work is taking place: Slack, JIRA and SuccessFactors. These integrations support our mission of helping high-performing enterprises get aligned, stay focused and ultimately become more successful.
Available today to current BetterWorks customers, our three new platform integrations help companies automatically capture progress on the work being done throughout an organization, and view critical data in the context of individual, team and company goals:
Receive goal and progress updates in Slack
The new Slack integration sends BetterWorks updates, such as cheers, nudges or @mentions, directly to a private Slack channel. Now users can choose to view their most relevant BetterWorks updates in the same tool they use to communicate and get work done every day, instead of via email. Get more details on our Slack integration in this blog post from our Goal Scientist, Alex Moffit.
Update and share progress from JIRA automatically
Product, IT and engineering teams that spend most of their time working in Atlassian’s JIRA product can now connect that critical work data to goals in BetterWorks. The integration instantly captures progress towards goals as issues are completed in JIRA, helping teams collaborate and share updates without disrupting their core workflow. Our Product Manager Vipul Galal goes into all the details here, including how you can use JQL search to automatically pull in current and future issues from JIRA.
Sync user data from SuccessFactors
Changes to organizational data in SuccessFactors, such as reporting structure shifts or new employees starting, are pulled into BetterWorks and updated automatically. Users can view the most relevant HR data with the additional context of goal alignment, current progress and historical achievements within BetterWorks.
I hope you’re as excited as I am about these new integrations! Stay tuned for even more and some powerful product updates soon.
